If you read my What inspired you? post you already know that I've been leafing through my new Coldwater Creek catalog and found a lot of color combinations there. So this week the challenge will focus on color and, to a lesser extent, theme combinations. For example, when I first saw this contemporary print jacket I instantly through of our new Boho West line and when I saw the cotton jacquard jacket
So here is the challenge for this week:
Layout: the card must be square, but can be any size. No other layout restrictions.
Color: Use 1 of the following two combinations
Combination 1: Chocolate chip, really rust, tempting turquoise, so saffron + one neutral of your choice
Combination 2: certainly celery, elegant eggplant, pale plum, basic black, whisper white.
Stamp Sets, Accessories, Techniques: Anything you can do with the things in the Fall-Winter 2007 Collection.
I hope you enjoy this challenge -- I sure plan to! Post links to your creations as a comment here or e-mail them to me so I can post them on the blog. And no, Coldwater Creek is not sponsoring my blog or paying me anything for mentioning their products -- I just really like their stuff, esp. their catalog! The challenge will run for 1 week. Have fun!
