WOO HOO -- Going to Convention!

I am so excited -- I was fortunate enough to register early this morning and on July 25th I'm heading out to Denver, CO for the annual Stampin' Up! convention! Although I became a demonstrator in June of last year I was not able to attend last year's convention because of my work vacation schedule. So instead I stayed glued to my e-mail and splitcoast waiting for scraps of information to trickle in from the demonstrators who were attending. Not so this year! I will be there, soaking up the excitement, taking bazillions of photos of displays, other demos and various SU personalities (note to self -- purchase large memory card for the camera), swapping cards, using brand new stamp sets, enjoying the SU PJ stamping party, picking up lots of stamping tips and generally having a great time with my stamping friends.

My buddy and convention roomie Sara is flying out with me at 6:00 a.m. (Yikes -- get the caffeine drip ready!) and her mom has graciously offered to get up at the crack of dawn to drive us to the airport! But no matter, I'm sure we'll be too excited to sleep the night before anyway (you know, like the kids in the Disney commercial?). And our flight gets us to Denver early so we'll have plenty of time to look at displays, swap and go shopping at the Stampin' Up! memento mall!

In Denver we'll meet up with Jen and her sister Carrie, our sideline, whom we'll get to meet for the first time! And, of course, there will be tons of other SISers there too! IF you're going to Session I of Convention I'm sure you will know us when you see us, because when we're together we are a stitch!

I will do my best to put up a post with pictures later tonight, but today is Bill's (my DH's ) birthday, so I may not have time. But I did want to share this news with you because it's just too cool! Woo Hoo! If you're reading this and you're going to session I too leave me a comment and maybe we can figure out a way to say hi in person in the Mile High City!
