Stamping Boot Camp Grads!

Remember your high school graduation? First there was prom, and then finals which, at least at my school, I got to skip because seniors could if they were satisfied with the grades they got through the year, the the senior prom, the ceremony itself and then, best of all, about a month worth of graduation parties! It was so much fun! Really, that month after graduation was like one big traveling party!
Why am I talking about this? Because Saturday night we had our boot camp graduation party and let me tell you, a bunch of grown women stamping can have just as much fun as a bunch of high schoolers! My sideline Nancy and upline Jen came up with the idea that our little group should dress alike for the graduation party and, as you can see, we were all Jen's Army. (In fact, if you're reading this Jen, I'm thinking ditch the star theme and just call our group "Jen's Stamping Army". ) It's hard to see in the picture, but Jen even made us all dog tags embossed with our names and demonstrator numbers and gave us the cutest cards featuring the tanks from the Words by Wilson set. So here we all are: Nancy, Sara, Jen and I. Aren't we just too adorable?

And here's my upline side of the Stampin' Up! family. My "grandma" Melissa, my "mom" Jen, my "great grandma" Glenda, and the baby - me! I know it sounds corny, but I really do have the best Stampin' Up! family! And these ladies are just the tip of the iceberg. The rest of the SISers are just as great -- I just never would able to fit them all into one picture!

So what did we do at our stamping boot camp graduation party? We pigged out on some yummy, yummy food and, of course, we stamped our little heads off! And can I just say it again? I love Glenda! Why? Well, there are so many reasons. But this time it's because two of the projects she designed just happen to match exactly the projects I was going to do at my Office Accoutrement class and I hadn't had a chance to make my samples yet. So guess what? Now two of my samples are done! Thank you so much Glenda! Here's a preview of one of the samples, and I'll be posting more throughout the next week.
So what is this adorable little thing? Well, it's the accents an elements tin, embossed with detail silver embossing powder from the office accoutrement's set and wrapped in a belly band decorated with notations paper and a couple of the many adhesive die cuts that come in the tin. And inside? You'll have to wait for the picture but trust me, it'll be worth it. When you open the tin you'll find a desktop photo frame which also hides a mini scrap book. Totally awesome! If you want to make one, you'll have to come over to the Office Accoutrement class on April 28. See my Stampin' Up! calendar of events for the details and call or e-mail me to register on or before April 16!
