Bella Pearls

Here's a close-up of the second card in the curly label punch series. You can get the materials to make this card, along with the other three shown in yesterday's post, with your purchase of the curly label punch bundle, the bella rose designer paper and a chocolate chip ink pad (you can substitute merchandise of equal or higher value for the designer paper and/or ink pad).

On this card I used the photo corner punch, half and full white pearls from the pretties kit along with a hat pin and teardrop beads and the striped kiwi kiss grosgrain ribbon.

In a comment to yesterday's post Jana asked if I cut all of the mats by hand. Well, that would just be impossible, even for someone who loves cutting as much as I do. I took the easy way out and cut the stamped images by hand. All four of the stamped images have neat outlines that make cutting them out fairly easy, as long as you can follow an outline. The intricate cutting came in curring out the flowers fro the designer paper, like in the center of the stamped image on this card. It makes for a great effect, but definitely not for someone who hates their scissors. The good news, though, is that it's very easy to stamp another image or a sentiment from your collection (or even the thank you sentiment from one of the other stamps in the cute and curly set) in the center of that label, avoiding the need to cut out the flowers! Woo Hoo!

More tomorrow!

Thanks for answering my question! I haven't gotten the bundle yet, so it's good to know that I can mix it up like that.
