Tart 'n Tangy Set

I really love how easy it is to quickly put together a set of cards using the Tart 'n Tangy stamp set and Summer Picnic designer series paper. Here I've just taken 4 different card bases in pumpkin pie, old olive, certainly celery and real red and covered each with a mat of whisper white. I added a different piece of designer paper to cover approximately 2/3 of each white mat, wrapping some wide grosgrain ribbon or striped grosgrain ribbon around the designer paper before I adhered it down to the whisper white. I used my stampin' write markers to color each image, stamped them on whisper white card stock, dipped the whole thing in versamark ink and embossed it with clear embossing powder, and then punched each image with my 1 1/4" circle punch. I added a coordinated color 1 3/8" circle mat to each image and finished it off with a coordinating scalloped circle mat. I then punched a hole in each scallop with my 1/16" circle punch and attached the image to the card.

I didn't add sentiments to these cards because this set was a prize and I wanted the prize winner to be able to select the sentiments of her choice, so I just punched a few large oval mats in coordinating colors, stamped a few sentiments in coordinating color classic inks on whisper white card stock and punched them out with the small oval punch so that the recipient could mix and match her mats and sentiments.

If you like this stamp set and designer paper but don't own them yet, your time to purchase them is quickly running out. They're both from the occasions mini which will be going away after June 30. So if you want to make cute and quick gift sets like this one contact me to place your order ASAP.
