Easter carrot

How cute is this carrot? I found the template on the Stampin' Up! demonstrator web site and I knew I had to make this one of my Easter decor class projects.
To make the carrot all I had to do was print the template onto pumpkin pie card stock, stamp the outside of the card stock with itty bitty backgrounds, fold and glue according to the template (I used sticky strip for a nice strong hold) and tie it together with some double stitched wild wasabi ribbon. As a final touch I stamped the bunny from the Wildlife Reserve set n basic gray on a piece of whisper white, added the Easter wishes greeting from Loads of Love in pumpkin pie, and used my blender and wild wasabi ink pad to to add the grass. I punched out the image with the small tag punch, layered it onto a piece of wild wasabi card stock punched with the large tag punch and attached it to the carrot with black hemp twine.
This project is so fun and easy! It would be a perfect project to do with the kids and use as party favors for your Easter guests.

When you print on SU! cardstock, do you have a problem with it jamming in your printer at all? I've found that my printer doesn't like SU!'s nicely thick CS and I can't print on it :(

Great project by the way! Now I have to go find that template!
