Fun Birthday Card

Take a look at this fun and easy birthday card I got to stamp at Glenda's stamp camp this weekend. I love it! It's so cute and so easy to make. The base is real red. Layered at the top is apiece of wild wasabi card stock and layered over that a piece of designer paper from the east coast prep assortment. I really, really love the colors and patterns in that assortment. A lot!

Anyway, the sentiment from the smarty pants set was stamped in versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. The image from so many scalloped SAB set (can you believe you get this set free with a $50 purchase? What a deal!) was stamped once using stampin write markers to get the multi-colored look and then stamped again in tempting turquoise for the scallops. The happy birthday sentiment and candles were punched out using the 1 1/4" circle punch and layered onto a 1 3/8" circle punched out of real red card stock, which was layered onto the scalloped circle. Super easy and unisex. Bill liked it too and wants to give it to his uncle this Saturday for his uncle's 80th birthday. He especially loved the quote from Ward Cleaver!
