Chunky glitter card

I guess despite really trying I just can't stay away from the One of a Kind set. It's hard when it just happens to be the perfect set for a technique I want to feature at my glitter class tomorrow. At tomorrow's class we'll be talking about different ways to adhere glitter to a card. We'll do a glitter window card, a card using heat and stick, a card using 2 way glue and last, but hopefully not least, this card, showcasing the use of glitter with sticky strip and glue dots.

I decided to use the white chunky glitter with this card and I really like the subtle effect. It's not as shiny as dazzling diamonds and it doesn't glisten so much as it glimmers. The larger glitter chunk actually give more of a glassy appearance. Kind of classy and elegant.

Here's the card recipe:
card stock: purely pomegranate, close to cocoa, pretty in pink, chocolate chip
ink: purely pomegranate
stamps: one of a kind
accessories: scalloped circle punch, slit punch, 1/16th handheld circle punch, pretty in pink taffeta ribbon, sticky strip, pop up glue dots, mini glue dots, white chunky glitter.

P.S. In case any of you are wondering, I chose the stuffed French toast combo with blueberry topping and over easy eggs (Bill got my bacon :-) -- his lent hasn't started yet). It was delish!
