Keeping Resolutions

Since I promised that this was going to be a record of my stamping adventures, I may as well show you what I've been up to. One of my new year's resolutions for 2007 was to make 10 Christmas cards every month, so that I will not be rushed and crazed in December. So here is my February card. A little non-traditional so it will stand out in a crowd.
The base of the card is Lavender Lace. The Whisper White panel is stamped with a stamp from the Snowflakes set in Lavender Lace classic ink. Each snowflake is stamped 3 times without re-inking, providing the variation in shade. The white panel is layered on Mellow Moss and Lovely Lilac. The tag with the sentiment is hand-cut from the Mellow Moss card stock and stamped in Lovely Lilac classic ink. The direct to paper method was used to color the edges of the tag and it's attached to the panel with a silver brad.
Who knows, come next December you could be the recipient of this card!

This is a beautiful card! I love the different color combo.

I'm *still* kicking myself for not getting this set before it retired! :P I love the new, bold snowflake set (as you know), but I love the detailed snowflakes in this set as well.

C'est la vie! LOL But awesome card. ;)

Fun snow card in purple. I joined the SCS Christmas card challenge this year, but failed miserably. None of the Christmas sets have inspired me at all.
